OIAA 2010 Provincial Conference Tour Options
Tour Option 1:
Due to the unfortunate news that Lakeport Brewery will be closing its doors forever on April 30, 2010, we have created an alternative tour option.
NEW TOUR: Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum
Interested in aircrafts and Canadian history? This is just the tour for you. The museum highlights aircrafts used from World War II up to the present. The planes were all flown by Canadians or Canada’s Military. Visitors can interact with displays and try the combat simulator to test their aviation skills. The museum also includes video displays, photos, movies and memorabilia from Canadian History. Of course, if the tour is completed early, you can relax at the Canteen and have a beer, glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage.
Tour Option 2:
Royal Botanical Gardens and Wine Tasting Tour
For the wine and beauty lovers! Explore Canada’s largest botanical garden, featuring over 1,100 hectares of breathtaking gardens and spectacular nature sanctuaries. After the tour, Niagara Wine Tours will host a wine tasting of 4 featured wines. After sampling you’ll have the opportunity to purchase wine by the glass, or for later, a bottle to be delivered to your hotel room.
Tour Option 3:
Salsa Lessons & a Cooking Demonstration mixed with a Martini Bar
What more could you ask for! Held at the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club you’ll have a view of the Hamilton Harbour while learning the famous salsa moves or touching up on your dancing skills. Afterwards a chef will provide a cooking demonstrate which will allow you to learn some tricks of the trade before sampling the finished appetizer dishes and relaxing with a martini, or two, from the martini bar.
